NATIONWIDE MALARIA CASE MANAGEMENT QUALITY OF CARE SURVEY 

The National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) has been undertaking a bi-annual health facility survey to evaluate the availability of malaria commodities and the quality of routine malaria case management practices. The 16thround of the survey is scheduled to take place in May/June, 2019.

The NMCP & PMI seeks to recruit team supervisors, research assistants and data entry clerks to participate in the survey scheduled to start on 28thMay, 2019 with a training and fieldwork from 3rdJune, 2019 to 28thJune, 2019. The survey will be done in all the 47 counties in the country.

 

1.Team Supervisor

Reports To: Project Coordinator

Program: National Malaria Control Program
Duration of Contract: 1 month.
Main purpose of the job

The Team Supervisors shall undertake the research activity under technical mentoring of the project coordinator and is expected to collect data using the data collection tools developed by the NMCP. 
Qualifications and experience

 

 

Willingness to travel and stay in different parts of Kenya during the course of the study

 

2.Research Assistant 

Reports to: Project Coordinator
Program: National Malaria Control Program
Duration of Contract: 1 month.

Main purpose of the job

The Research Assistant shall undertake the research activity under technical mentoring of the team supervisor and is expected to collect data using the data collection tool developed by the NMCP. 
Qualifications and experience

Willingness to travel and stay in different parts of Kenya during the course of the study

 

3.Data Entry 

Reports to: Data manager
Program: National Malaria Control Program
Duration of Contract: 1 month
